Dr. Judd Burton

Dr. Judd Burton is the Director of the Institute of Biblical Anthropology and the author of Interview With the Giant: Ethnohistorical Notes on the Nephilim.

Dr. Burton’s dissertation examined the religious history of Panias, the biblical Caesarea Philippi, an ancient cult center at the foot of Mount Hermon and the site of the cave called the Grotto of Pan.

Over the last decade, Judd has produced the groundbreaking “Sons of God, Giants of Old” conferences in Lubbock, Texas, which has featured speakers such as Dr. Michael Heiser, Derek P. Gilbert, and Dr. Aaron Judkins, with whom Burton has co-authored a forthcoming book on Gobekli Tepe, the mysterious archaeological site believed to be the world’s oldest known religious community.
